BBC One’s Hotel Babylon re-opens this week (Friday 19 June 2009) for a fourth series and there are some new faces checking into to London’s swankiest and sexist hotel.
Joining audience favourites Dexter Fletcher, Emma Pierson, Michael Obiora, Martin Marquez, Ray Coulthard, Danira Govic and Alexandra Moen are Nigel Harman as the hotel’s new charismatic owner, Sam Franklin and Anna Wilson-Jones as his ex-wife and Babylon’s General Manager, Juliet.
Things aren’t going well for the hotel, Juliet has been appointed as a trouble-shooter to either shut down or save the hotel. Unaware of his wife’s appointment, Sam Franklin attempts to check into Hotel Babylon but when some disturbing events threaten the hotel’s equilibrium Sam decides to take matters into his own hands. Several phone calls later and Sam Franklin is the new owner of Hotel Babylon much to his ex-wife’s annoyance.
There’s another new staff member set to join the team when former Emmerdale star Amy Nuttall joins the cast in episode seven as Melanie Hughes and fans are can look forward to a guest appearance Max Beesley as former Hotel Babylon Manager Charlie Edwards gets gets more than he bargains for when he sees old flame Anna.
