ITV to screen Take That special

Take That will perform some of their greatest hits as well as songs from their new album, The Circus, in a one off special for ITV1 to air early next month. The broadcaster promises that Take That Come to Town will be a real treat for fans and promise “some special surprises.”

BBC new writers range storms iTunes chart

BBC Audiobooks is celebrating after a title in their new writers range went straight to No.3 in the iTunes fiction chart and No. 18 in the overall audio chart competing against established acts such as Ricky Gervais. Hyperpsychoreality Syndrome, written by Wayne Holloway-Smith, is one of a new publishing range BBC New Writing, which went live on iTunes this week.

Warner and Deezer announce ad-sharing deal

Online music ‘jukebox’ Deezer has reached agreement with music giant Warner Music International for a “global content and revenue partnership” which will see the service gain access to Warner’s extensive catalogue in return for a share in revenues generated by Deezer’s ad-supported platform which offers a free-to-access, on-demand music streaming service.
