2K Games has announced that the fifth entry in Sid Meier’s epic Civilization franchise is now in development at Firaxis Games for the PC (sadly no news yet on possible console or Mac versions). Promising players an “an astonishing new engine built from the ground-up” 2K Games say players will be “introduced to an entirely new combat system, deeper diplomatic interactions and a cavalcade of expanded features”.
