I’m a big fan of Five’s The Hotel Inspector so was pretty disappointed when presenter Ruth Watson left the show after three series. Mobile web use 'up 300%'
The number of users surfing the web via mobile devices has increased by over 300% since last November, according to the final State of the Mobile Web report of 2008 from browser developer Opera. The firm says Opera Mini users viewed more than 5.7 billion pages in November. Since October, page views have gone up 12.1%. Since November 2007, this number is up 303%. BBC One's updating of Terry Nation's Survivors has been renewed for a second series, according to reports. Written by Adrian Hodges and based on Nation's novel, the series features a UK decimated by a killer virus with only a few survivors remaining.
