After a year of waiting Matt Smith has finally appeared on screen as the new Doctor, giving fans a brief glimpse and tantalising of their hero’s latest incarnation.
With most of Doctor Who’s 2009 publicity effort focused on David Tennant’s final stories – vindicated by an audience of over 10.4m for his exit – the next few weeks and months are likely to herald a flood of pre-series publicity and the official Doctor Who website promises to upload goodies “very soon” but in the meantime here’s another chance to enjoy that exciting series five preview:
