February DVD release for Defying Gravity

DG_Groups3723_R2_1Defying Gravity, the space drama from the producers of Grey’s Anatomy and Desperate Housewives, comes to DVD next month.

The series follows the adventures of eight astronauts on board the international spacecraft and first aired on BBC2 and BBC HD in 2009.

Despite attracting a hard core of fans, only thirteen episodes of were ever made and the series has been unavailable on DVD until now.

Thanks to Medium Rare Entertainment, fans will finally be able to relive the adventures of veteran astronauts Ted Shaw (Malik Yoba) and Maddux Donner (Ron Livingston) and the crew of the Antares.

The label is releasing the complete series a 4-disc Region 2 DVD box set which will include an array of extra features including ‘Mission Accomplished – A Look At The Making of Defying Gravity’.

Other features include deleted scenes, a slideshow featuring production stills, and conceptual design pictures of the Antares.

Defying Gravity will be released on February 25, pre-order from Amazon.co.uk today.
