Freesat_logo_900Freest has added video on demand service Wuaki.tv to its line-up of connected set-top-boxes, a move which allows users to buy and rent Hollywood blockbusters and top TV shows straight from their TV.

The service’s library includes Spectre, the 24th James Bond adventure, Star Wars: The Force Awakens and Game of Thrones and allows viewers to pre-order upcoming releases so that they’re instantly available on the day of release.

Wuaki.tv joins Freesat’s existing On-Demand offering which also includes BBC iPlayer, ITV Hub and Netflix. The app will be available on HDR-1000s 500GB, HDR-1010s 1TB, HB-1000s and HDR-1100s set top boxes.

Commenting on the launch, Alistair Thom, managing director at Freesat, said: “We’re delighted to launch Wuaki.tv on Freesat and further enhance our popular On Demand offering.

“With over 200 subscription free channels now available, Freesat viewers are truly spoilt for choice when it comes to great entertainment.
