How would you spend £20,000?

Aug 7, 2013 - Staff@seenituk

How would you spend £20,000?

That’s the question The National Lottery bosses are urging players to consider ahead of some major changes to the Lotto game this October, which will see more winners created every week.

As part of the changes, every Lotto ticket will include a raffle number giving you a chance to win one of 50 guaranteed £20,000 prizes and, if the jackpot rolls, the number of raffle winners grows too.

Plus the most commonly won prize – 10 for matching three numbers – is being boosted to a far more generous £25 payout.

And the good news doesn’t stop there.
If you’re lucky enough to find all six of your numbers coming up, you could be in line for a much bigger win too – the average Saturday jackpot is increasing to around £5 million and the Wednesday jackpot will rise to around £2.5 million.

All of which brings us back to the question – how would you spend the dosh? Here at seenit.co.uk we’d quite fancy one of those new, ultra-thin MacBook Pro’s with Retina displays (£1,449.00), and one of the Blackberry Q10’s (£499.95) we recently reviewed would be quite nice too. Oh, and a top of the range iMac (£1,699.00) would be pretty nice too.

But even after such self-generosity we’d still have a fair old pile of cash left over and yet after the first few headline items, it gets harder to think what to do with it.

Have a go yourself – what would you do with a big win? Spoil yourself? Treat the family? Finance that Indy film you’ve always fancied producing or take yourself on a luxury holiday?

Or maybe like Porkpie from TV’s Desmond’s you’d spend it all doing something nice for the local community?
