Amazon Prime Video has scooped the UK, German, Austrian and Japanese rights to highly-anticipated supernatural drama series, Preacher. The series debuts May 23rd, with subsequent episodes appearing just a day after they premiere in the US on AMC.
At long last former Top Gear hosts Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May have unveiled the name of their new series but after ‘what is going to be called?’ the second most question we get asked is ‘how can i watch it?’
The trio had tried registering Gear Knobs as the new show’s name but Clarkson later confirmed that BBC bosses had banned them from including the world ‘gear’ in its title.
Produced by Jason Reitman (Juno), the show follows what happens when bachelor and dating-app creator Alex (Tommy Dewey, The Mindy Project) and his newly divorced psychologist sister Valerie (Michaela Watkins, New Girl) live under one roof again.
The show is a prequel to AMC’s hit series The Walking Dead and explains for the first time the origins of the zombie population which terrorises the cast of the original series.

In the advert he references his sacking from the hit motoring show, saying “Back in the spring, as you probably remember, I suddenly became un-busy” explaining how the Fire TV stick helped save him from boredom.
