There should be a fair bit to be happy about in terms of PS3 online gameplay at them moment but somehow I'm a bit disheartened by the whole experience. According to the US Playstation blog Fat princess is coming to the PSN this week and I'm pretty excited about it. Recent PSN videos of this anarchic online game have been delightfully dark and full of black comedy - the "cutesy" graphics serving to offset the blood and gore. I was surprised to come across the following message sent by Electronic Arts to one of it's Irish customers who complained that the flag used on his Battlefield 1943 "Scorecard" was the Union Flag and not the National flag of Ireland. Battlefield 1943 stormed onto the PS3 and Xbox360 this week... and then quietly slipped away as EA's pitiful servers crumbled.
