Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment has released an all-new LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens trailer revealing exclusive new levels exploring adventures set in the time leading up to Star Wars: The Force Awakens.
Players were quickly underwhelmed by the paltry amount of offline content and the absence of a campaign mode has come in for repeated and much deserved criticism
The return of James Bond and Star Wars to the big screen has been credited with helping to grow profits at Cineworld. In the year ending 31 December 2015 the firm booked revenue of £705.8m with pre-tax profits standing at £99.7m.
Directed by J.J. Abrams, the film sees original trilogy stars Harrison Ford, Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill, Anthony Daniels, Peter Mayhew, and Kenny Baker return alongside new cast members including EE Rising Star Award winner John Bodega and Daisy Ridley.
According to the developers, the new map envelops players in “darkness plus harsh wind and snow” to increase the challenge posed by the remote ice planet.
Launching on June 28, 2016, Lego Star Wars The Force Awakens will be developed by TT Games and published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita, Xbox One, Xbox 360, Wii U, the Nintendo 3DS™ and Windows PC.
The award was created in honour of highly respected BAFTA-winning casting director Mary Selway, whose career spanned three decades and over ninety films before she died in 2004, and is the only award at the EE British Academy Film Awards to be voted for by the public.
