Singing twins Jedward have been selected to represent Ireland at this year’s Eurovision contest, beating four other acts in a public and jury vote.
The results of the vote were announced on Friday on a special edition of Late Late Show.
The former X-Factor contestants came eighth in the 2011 contest with their song Lipstick, scoring 119 points and outperforming UK entry Blue.
The brothers will perform Waterline at this year’s contest which takes in Azerbaijan in May.
Unlike the UK, Ireland does not automatically qualify for a place in the final, meaning the twins will need to compete in the semi-final for a place in the live final.
