Only Fools and Horses star Nicholas Lyndhurst returns to BBC One in a new sitcom ‘After You’ve Gone’.
Lyndhurst plays as jack-of-all-trades, Jimmy Venables a weekend-dad who moves back into the marital home to look after his two teenagers Molly (Dani Harmer, star of Tracy Beaker) and Alex (Ryan Sampson) when his ex-wife volunteers to tend to victims of a natural disaster in Africa.
Unfortunately for Jimmy his patrician mother-in-law, Diana (Celia Imrie) views Jimmy as a walking, talking natural disaster so she virtually moves in to "e;help"e; which generally means undermining Jimmy whenever possible.
The series was created by Fred Barron who also created BBC One’s highly popular My Family.
After You’ve Gone airs 8.30pm January 12th on BBC One.
