NOW TV, Sky’s popular TV, sport and movie streaming service, is launching what it claims is “the UK’s cheapest streaming stick” next month.
Priced at just £14.99 – £25 less than Amazon’s Fire TV stick – the device is powered by Roku and includes Voice Search capability to help users find their favourite content.
The NOW TV Smart Stick is also available as part of a bundle which includes a two-month NOW TV Entertainment Pass – offering access to a range of premium channels including Sky Atlantic – for £19.99.
Alternatively it’s available with a one-month Sky Cinema Pass for £19.99, or a one-month Sky Sports Pass for £29.99.
Gidon Katz, Managing Director, NOW TV, said: “If you’re looking for a flexible way to stream great TV, contract free, our plug-and-play NOW TV Smart Stick is the cheapest in the UK.
“Just add one of our content passes to stream premium live sports, binge over 300 Box Sets, watch a new movie premiere every day, or keep the family entertained with thousands of kids episodes.”
Later this year NOW TV will allow users of its mobile app to download content to their device and will start offering full HD on live and on demand content.
