Some slightly belated news on the ratings front for the last three stories, Rise of the Cybermen, The Age Of Steel and The Idiot’s Lantern.
Rise of the Cybermen, the first part of the cybermen tale, was seen by 9.22 million viewers according to final figures from BARB. On BBC One the episode was beaten only by a single episode of EastEnders whilst on ITV only Coronation Street was seen by more viewers.
The concluding part, The Age Of Steel, was seen by 7.63 million and was the fourth most watched brand on BBC One for the week and the seventh most watched episode for the channel.
