Robert Pattinson in The Haunted Airman

March 27, 2009 by Martin Hoscik · 2 Comments

The Haunted Airman stars Robert Pattinson who shot to fame as Cedric Diggory in the legendary Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire and more recently Twilight. Adapted from Dennis Wheatley’s novel The Haunting of Toby Jugg, this is the tale of a troubled young man who returns from war, only to face new terrors.

Flight Lieutenant Jugg, confined to a wheelchair after being wounded in action, arrives at a remote mansion in Wales to recuperate. Suffering terrible nightmares and visions, he suspects the methods of his psychiatrist, Dr Hal Burns. His beautiful aunt, Julia, seems to be the only person he can trust – until circumstances make him doubt even her intentions.

The drama was written, produced and directed by Chris Durlacher, whose previous credits include Kenneth Tynan: In Praise of Hardcore and George Orwell: A Life in Pictures.

The Haunted Airman will be out on DVD on April 6th through Revolver Entertainment and can be pre-ordered from the seenit store.

Caught the movie on the Internet a few months ago, thought Rob totally nailed the “haunted” part. I hope the spiders were a camera trick, that would have put me over right there! I love seeing his broad range of emotions from film to film. Did ya notice though in each film he does you just want to help the poor guy out? Okay, maybe not Summer House. Haha:)
