The official series site is offering a new desktop image based on a fantastic new promotional picture for series three featuring the Doctor and Martha fleeing a enormous fireball.

Update: the image is now out of embargo so we’re freed from merely trying to describe it.

The image is the first official series three launch image and promises to be the first volly in a high profile advertising campaign for the new series which sees Freema Agyeman join the Tardis crew.
