Some catch-ups and new developments surrounding series two:
Subscribers to Doctor Who Magazine are starting to receive their copies of the latest edition which officially confirms the airdate for series two as Saturday 15th April.
The show will air in the same 7pm timeslot as series one and kicks off with the episode “New Earth”.
As with last year each episode will be followed by an episode of Doctor Who Confidential on the digital channel BBC Three. Mark Gatiss will handle the narration for the second run replacing Simon Pegg.
The press launch for the series took place last night (28th of March) however media reports are embargoed until “00hrs 29th/30th March” according to a brief mention in the Diary section of the Media Guardian.
The official series site has had a slight makeover and now sports a homepage featuring The Doctor and Rose replacing the ‘Attack of the Graske’ splash page.
The latest Radio Times (1-7th April) is also arriving with subscribers and mentions the new series on the cover.
Inside the magazine is an interview with producer Phil Collinson and a new picture of David Tennant in costume.
Finally a quick apology for the lack of updates over the last week but I’ve been suffering from a particularly nasty viral bug!
