Sky Mobile customers can now opt to pay £5 per day to access use their calling plan’s data allowance when travelling to selected non-EU countries.
The firm’s new ‘Roaming Passport Plus’ bolt-on is available in the 10 most-popular roaming destinations outside of the European Union:
Liz Wynn, Sky’s Director of Mobile, said: “We’re making roaming even simpler by letting customers use their Sky Mobile data in far-away holiday destinations, from the USA to New Zealand.
“For just £5 a day, you can now browse freely with Sky Mobile knowing you won’t find any nasty surprises on your bill when you get home.”
“Roaming Passport Plus is available for all customers and will be automatically switched on when a customer uses data after arriving in one of the available destinations.
“Each access period lasts 24 hours, after which a new one starts if they use more mobile data.
“Anyone who chooses not to use Roaming Passport Plus can simply turn data roaming off in their phone settings.”
