James Bond producers have announced that Prince Charles and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall are to attend the world premiere of Skyfall.
The film is the third to star Daniel Craig as Ian Fleming’s James Bond 007 and also stars Dame Judi Dench, Javier Barde, Bérénice Marlohe, Ralph Fiennes and Albert Finney.
Bond’s loyalty to M (Dench) is tested as her past comes back to haunt her. As MI6 comes under attack, 007 must track down and destroy the threat, no matter how personal the cost.
The premiere will be held at London’s Royal Albert Hall and, at the Prince’s request, will benefit charities supporting members of the UK’s three intelligence agencies – the Secret Intelligence Service, the Security Service and GCHQ.
Producers Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli commented, ‘We are thrilled His Royal Highness Prince Charles and The Duchess of Cornwall have agreed to attend the World Premiere of our latest James Bond film, and are pleased this event will help raise funds to support The Prince’s chosen charities.’
Skyfall is scheduled to arrive in UK and Irish cinemas on October 26th 2012. North America fans will be able to see it from November 9th 2012.
