Definitely a more 'grown up' Take That comes across on this album than on their earlier albums. There are echoes of The Beatles and Coldplay in some of the tracks. A really eclectic selection of tracks, from the melancholy to the uplifting-something for everyone!

Being a 'Thattie' first time round, I was gutted when they split in 1996 and never thought I would ever hear any new stuff from them ever again. Then they got back together and released Beautiful World; their best album up to that point. I thought it couldn't be topped. Well it could - they released The Circus and every single track is exceptional. Every song demonstrates how they've grown and matured in the years they've been apart and every song delivers something - you can dance around to it, sing along to it, just sit and chill to it. Whatever. There isn't one bad song on this album and they all sound fantastic live. I love the fact that they all sing lead vocal now rather than it all being about Gary; they are a band after all not a soloist and support staff. Take That Rule! The Circus Rules! Nuff said!

I'm a huge fan of Take That anyway, so i think any album of theirs is good.
I pre-ordered this album from amazon and had only heard one song from this album "Greatest Day" and i had a bit of a surprise, but a nice surprise. This album and all it's songs seemed very out of character for Take That, comparing it to their previous album "Beautiful World"Beautiful World. Which most of their songs on that album seemed slow, apart from a few, but their new one is very happy and jolly.
It really is worth getting.

Great CD. The 'boys' get better the older they get. Nice to hear Jason singing a couple of tracks and the rendition of Greatest Day builds fantastically. Altogether a great album.
