Watch The Grand Tour opening episode free this Christmas weekend

December 23, 2016 - Martin Hoscik@martinhoscik

Amazon is letting anyone with a free shopping account watch the first episode of Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May’s The Grand Tour this Christmas.

Normally exclusive to customers with an Amazon Prime subscription or a standalone monthly Prime Video subscription, the episode is to be opened up for anyone with a standard Amazon account from today through to midnight on Boxing Day.

“The Grand Tour premiere has broken all Amazon streaming records, so we wanted to give all customers an opportunity to watch one of the biggest TV shows of the year this Christmas weekend.” said Jay Marine, VP Amazon Video EU.

Amazon is also making the first episodes of all Amazon Original shows including The Man In The High Castle, Transparent, Mozart In The Jungle and the first episodes of hit Amazon Original kids series Just Add Magic, Wishenpoof, Creative Galaxy, and Gortimer Gibbon’s Life on Normal Street free over the weekend.

To watch further episodes, customers can start a 30-day free trial of a Prime monthly membership which is just £7.99/month thereafter.
