The BBC have confirmed that the second series of Life on Mars will bring an end to DI Sam Tyler’s adventures in the 1970’s.
The BBC Entertainment News website quotes writer and co-creator Matthew Graham as saying the producers have� "e;decided that Sam’s journey should have a finite life span and a clear-cut ending and we feel that we have now reached that point after two series."e;
The second series, which is produced by independent production company Kudos, is expected to air in early 2007 on BBC One.
