BFI poster archive available to buy

January 12, 2009 - Staff@seenituk

The BFI has launched an online print store offering film fans the chance to buy high quality copies of a range of posters and stills from the BFI’s archives.

An initial 300 prints are available ranging from London Film Festival posters (dating back to 1957), BFI Production titles, European and Hollywood portraits from the 1920s and 30s, and British Quota movies to Academy Cinema posters, Mitchell and Kenyon stills, and the art of Lotte Reiniger.

More images will be added monthly from the BFI National Archive’s more than 4 million stills and posters collection.

Products range from a 7×5 print for just £4.99 to a 55-inch canvas for £199.99, and there are even jigsaws.
