Blood of the Daleks – BBC Radio 7

November 23, 2006 - Staff@seenituk

BBC7’s series of all-new Doctor Who adventures kicks off on December 31st with the two-part story ‘BLOOD OF THE DALEKS’ by Steve Lyons.

Directed by Nicholas Briggs the story sees the Doctor (Paul McGann) discover his TARDIS has been invaded by a lippy Northern lass named Lucie Mille (played by Sheridan Smith, pictured.)

Why have the Time Lords landed Lucie on him, and vice versa?

Perhaps the answer lies on the sunless colony world of Red Rocket Rising, whose inhabitants face sudden extinction. But help is at hand: their SOS signal has been answered. The Daleks are coming to save them!

Cast details: Paul McGann (The Doctor ), Sheridan Smith (Lucie Miller), Olsson Eileen (Headhunter Katarina), Anita Dobson (Klint), Kenneth Cranham (Tom Cardwell), Hayley Atwell (Asha), Gerry O’Toole (Lowell) and Nicholas Briggs as the voice of the Daleks.

The series includes a second 2-part encounter with the Daleks and an appearance by the Cybermen.
