Children in Need Doctor Who Auction

November 3, 2006 - Staff@seenituk

Terry Wogan’s BBC Radio show will kick off fundraising efforts for this year’s Children in Need on Monday 13th November with the annual Wake Up To Wogan Auction.

According to a press release issued earlier this week items to be auctioned include “a day with the Daleks on the set of the next series of Dr Who.”

Other lots include afternoon tea with Elaine Paige followed by a trip to the Premiere of The Sound of Music; the chance to accompany Terry to the Eurovision Song Contest 2007; tickets to the prestigious UK Music Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony; the opportunity to rub shoulders with top footballers at the Professional Footballers’ Association Player of the Year Awards dinner

Listeners can call in on 0500 288 291 and the lines are open from 8.05am each morning. More information on the auction items can be found on the Radio 2 website at bbc.co.uk/radio2.

Donations can be made direct to Children in Need by calling 0845 733 2233 or visiting www.bbc.co.uk/pudsey
