Dell today officially unveiled the Inspiron Mini 9, a UMPC the company is aiming at “teens, tweens, travelers and ‘Tweeters'” who are looking to surf, chat with friends, or blog.
Weighing in at only 1.035kg, the Inspiron Mini 9 includes a built-in webcam, Bluetooth, sealed keyboard, reliable solid state disc (SSD) drive, and bright 8.9-inch glossy LED display (1024×600)
Built-in Wi-Fi connectivity allows quick and easy wireless internet access to hotspots and buyers will have a choice between Windows XP and Ubuntu 8.04 with a custom Dell interface.
There’s also a built-in Webcam and Bluetooth for easy wireless connections to Bluetooth-enabled accessories such as headphones.
The Inspiron Mini 9 is available now on www.dell.com/mini in the U.S., Japan and select countries in Europe.
