Doctor Who Series 2 Sold to Holland

BBC Worldwide have today announced the sale of series two to Dutch broadcaster NOS.

The agreements were announced at MIP TV and is part of a major deal which sees the sale of over 170 hours of content to four of the major Dutch broadcasters.

In addition to Doctor Who NOS has licensed a slate of comedies including the new series of Extras and Little Britain, as well as the second series of Life on Mars and Afterlife (Series 1 and 2).

Commenting on today’s announcement, Claudia Danser, BBC Worldwide Territory Manager, Benelux, said:

“BBC Worldwide has long enjoyed a successful and important relationship with audiences and broadcasters throughout the Netherlands. These new agreements further strengthen those relationships, continuing to offer Dutch audiences the best of our leading catalogue.”
