ITV has appointed Mentorn – the company behind More4’s David Blunkett satire A Very Social Secretary – to produce a ‘film’ about John Prescott’s affair with his secretary and subsequent downfall.
It’s pretty poor that what was once a powerhouse of originality and world class drama now simply apes small digital only channels for ideas and is a clear sign of the lack of originality which has caused ITV to shed so many viewers in recent times.
Going by the casting in many ITV drama one presumes we’ll be treated to Ross Kemp as Prescott?
