A new iPhone and iPad app has been released for the Man Booker Prize, one of the book world’s most high profile awards.
The app boasts a full history of the prize, including information about the judges and the longlist, shortlist and winning authors and books, plus extracts from selected prize titles and exclusive author interviews, and has been released ahead of the announcement of this year’s shortlist on September 7th.

In to the app, prize organisers have announced a tie-up with T-Mobile the digital book retailer GoSpoken to provide content on the mobile phone provider’s home page, “T-Zones”, plus competitions and prizes for users who buy a copy of a longlisted or shortlisted title or the winning book.
