Media Round-Up

April 13, 2006 - Staff@seenituk

This is Wiltshire carries an interview with Billie Piper and David Tennant in which Billie reveals how her mum is often on the phone to David. The report claims Billie’s mother has “has taken rather a shine to David”. As is now law, the report also includes discussion on Billie’s future plans and a comment that she is “sticking with the Who”.

Female First reports that Billie Piper ‘is considering going back to school because she feels stupid compared to her studious boyfriend”, a story also reported at Fametastic which also picks up on recent reports that the Doctor Who filming schedule leaves Billie little time for her private life.

The Daily Record has the story that David Tennant came down with a bug just as filming on his first series came to an end. The Mirror’s 3am Girls has a story too suggestive for us to repeat or younger fans to read.

TechDigest has details and pictures of the new talking Doctor Who pens.

Finally, the Bromley News Shopper’s report on the play ‘Strangers on a Train’ manages to combine the old and the new with a mention that cast member Will Thorp makes an appearance in the upcoming second series and a more detailed contribution from fellow cast member and Sixth Doctor Colin Baker who says he’s “so proud to have been a part of such a phenomenon.”
