The Scotsman reports that David Tennant “could make an appearance” at a gala event next Saturday to mark 40 years of The Royal Lyceum Theatre Company.

The Mirror reports that former EastEnders Mona Hammond and Raji James are to appear in the final two episodes of the second series. The story was first reported in the latest edition of Doctor Who Magazine. On the subject of magazines Brand Republic report on the news (also carried first in DWM) that BBC Magazines are to publish a new title – Doctor Who Adventures – aimed at six to 12 year olds boys.

icWales reports David Tennant as saying they’ll be no “nookie” between The Doctor and Rose but that The Doctor’s sexuality “is explored”.

whatsonstage.com reports that Christopher Eccleston’s latest stage appearance has ben cancelled. No explanation for the cancellation is given.

Bille Piper’s casting in the BBC adaptations of Philip Pullman’s ‘Sally Lockhart Mysteries’ gets widespread coverage.
