T3 iPad edition clocks up 14,000 monthly sales

February 16, 2012 - Staff@seenituk

Independently audited figures show the iPad edition of tech magazine T3 attracted average monthly sales of 14,223 between period July and December 2011.

The iPad edition of the mag includes exclusive video, 360° animation and multi-layer content and has already been named the the highest grossing app on the Apple Newsstand.

Future Publishing says the latest sales figures were audited by Bright Grahame Murray ahead of the launch of the ABCs new Digital Publication Certificate.

T3 and Technology Group Publishing Director Nial Ferguson says: “T3 has led the way in the tablet space and rightly so, given our demanding audience of early adopters. T3 is the biggest-selling iPad magazine, and recently became the first fully-interactive magazine to launch into the Android Marketplace.

“As proven pioneers in producing fully-interactive tablet content, I’m pleased that we are also pioneers in delivering a truly transparent, audited account of our interactive sales.

“We are only at the beginning of the tablet journey, but our commitment is to provide our client and agency partners with a clear understanding of this new and exciting interactive magazine experience.”

Future has also announced that digital copies of its titles sold through iTunes and Zinio now exceed 150,000 per month.
