Only Fools and Horses continues to be loved by audiences, with nearly a third of British adults describing it as best British comedy of all time and 71% of comedy fans saying newer shows aren’t as good as the classic.

UKTV’s Drama channel has snapped up the exclusive rights to The Pinkertons, a new crime drama based on real cases investigated by Pinkerton’s National Detective Agency founder Allan Pinkerton.

UKTV has snapped up the broadcast rights to Crossing Lines, a crime-drama based on the International Criminal Court’s real life mandate to investigate serialised cross-border crimes and hunt down global criminals.

Based on T Group’s original US hit, the show is one of Dave’s biggest audience pullers, with one episode drawing a consolidated audience of 2.5m. Dave also airs the US original version.
