  • New Android phone from Vodafone and HTC

    Vodafone has announced it is to offer the HTC Dream, the second mobile powered by the Android operating system from Google, exclusively across Europe. The phone is described as a “tablet-style device” will be available in white in the UK, Spain and France, black in Germany and in both colours in Italy.

  • Orange to launch first Pay As You Go BlackBerry

    Mobile operator Orange is to be the first UK provider to offer a Pay As You Go BlackBerry service. For £145, customers will be able to purchase a BlackBerry Pearl 8120 with access to the BlackBerry service costing £5 per month.

  • Sony announce new Walkman range

    Personal audio pioneers Sony have announced the latest incarnations of their Walkman brand, including the X-series – a range of touchscreen MP3/video players. The new touchscreen devices include support for all popular music and video formats and Wi-fi connectivity for easy YouTube streaming, Podcast direct downloading and internet browsing.

  • The Cloud signs Wi-Fi deal with Pret

    Food retailer Pret has announced a deal with Wi-Fi operator The Cloud which will allow the retailer to offer free WiFi access to all in-store customers. 60 stores have already been activated with the free service with all 130 stores expected to be complete by mid-December.

  • BlackBerry Storm ships November 14th

    The Blackberry Storm, the first ever touch-screen BlackBerry smartphone, will be available exclusively from Vodafone from 14th November. Customers who want to be the first in the UK to get the device are being invited to pre-order in Vodafone stores or online at www.vodafone.co.uk/storm.
