Featuring one daredevil per episode, the series opens with Jeb Corliss attempting to fly down the Matterhorn in Switzerland in a winged Teflon suit, within five feet of the jagged cliff face.

Following the success of the recent third series, ITV has confirmed an order for a fourth series of Lewis, the Inspector Morse spin-off starring Kevin Whately. Inspired by the Inspector Morse series adapted from the novels by Colin Dexter, who also serves as consultant on Lewis, the series also Laurence Fox as sidekick DS Hathaway.
