Broadband-to-TV giant BT has unveiled a new ‘next generation’ version of its YouView+ set top box. At just 24cm wide the box is two-thirds the size of the original model and is approximately the same width as BT’s latest HomeHub routers which it’s styled to match.

YouView updates Android remote record app

Smart TV platform YouView has updated the Android version of its remote record app, adding support for Android 4.4 (KitKat). The new version adds Channel logos which will now be seen on the TV Guide, Now & Next and the programme information screen, and also includes improvements to the Channel Day List View.
