BBC hires new Commissioning Editor for Podcasts

The BBC has hired its first ever Commissioning Editor for Podcasts with Jason Phipps, currently Head of Audio at The Guardian, taking up the role in May. Phipps, who previously worked as a BBC producer, will oversee the broadcaster’s portfolio of podcasts, as well as commission new titles and entries.
