    Online retail giant Amazon has made its Kindle iPhone app available to UK consumers for the first time. The move follows an earlier decision to allow non-US shoppers to purchase the Kindle eBook reader. The free app allows customers to buy new titles as well as access previous purchases for free.

    Andy McNab’s digital book company, Mobcast Services Ltd, has secured second round investment, attracting the support of Japanese mobile book giant For-Side.com Co. Ltd.
