Each episode gives viewers a behind the scenes look at life below deck, allowing them to see what it takes to operate a passenger vessel around the clock. 

Until recently the publicly owned broadcaster, which is self-funding through advertising and other commercial revenue, was barred from producing content in-house.

Filming is underway on a new adaptation of Barbara Taylor Bradford’s iconic novel, A Woman of Substance, which will air on Channel 4.
