Here’s a brand-new trailer for Fox’s six-part The X-Files revival which sees David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson back as FBI Agents Fox Mulder and Dana Scully.
Originally shown in 1993 and airing for nine seasons, the show’s spooky and alien-themes conspiracy theory plots say it become a global hit and helped it spawn two big screen adventures plus a spin-off series.
Now, thirteen years after the original series ended, series creator Chris Carter is penning six new episodes which once again see the agents investigating paranormal phenomena.
“I think of it as a 13-year commercial break,” said Carter earlier this year.
“The good news is the world has only gotten that much stranger, a perfect time to tell these six stories.”
The X-Files returns in January and will be shown on Sky 1 in the UK.
