Vodafone is offering new 4G customers a six month pre-paid subscription to Netflix when they sign up to a tariff costing £26pm or higher.
Vodafone says it’s signed up 500,000 4G customers since the new super-fast data service launched 6 months ago. Customers signing up to one of the network’s Red 4G plans get a choice of either Spotify Premium or Sky Sports Mobile TV addition to their minutes and data allowances.
Mobile network Vodafone has escaped punishment for missing its 3G coverage obligations. In November, Ofcom announced that EE, Three and O2 had all met an obligation to cover 90% of UK homes by June 2013 but that Vodafone’s coverage was below target at 88.66%.
