Star Trek Into Darkness – new trailer

December 17, 2012 - Staff@seenituk

Days after debuting the film’s first nine minutes, Paramount have released a brand-new trailer for J.J. Abrams’ eagerly-awaited Star Trek Into Darkness.

We’ve seen the opening section of the film and it looks great, and the trailer gives everyone a chance to see some of the spectacular action heading to cinemas next May.

Star Trek Into Darkness stars Chris Pine as Kirk, Zachary Quinto as Spock, Zoe Saldaña as Uhura, Karl Urban as Dr McCoy, Anton Yelchin as Chekov, John Co, as Sulu, Simon Pegg as Scotty and Benedict Cumberbatch.

Earlier this month the film’s plot synopsis was released, giving this insight into the action and fun to come:

“When the crew of the Enterprise is called back home, they find an unstoppable force of terror from within their own organisation has detonated the fleet and everything it stands for, leaving our world in a state of crisis.

“With a personal score to settle, Captain Kirk leads a manhunt to a war-zone world to capture a one-man weapon of mass destruction.

“As our heroes are propelled into an epic chess game of life and death, love will be challenged, friendships will be torn apart, and sacrifices must be made for the only family Kirk has left: his crew.”

Noel Clarke, Alice Eve, Peter Weller, Joseph Gatt, Nazneen Contractor, Anjini Taneja Azhar[ and Nolan North also star.
