Days after debuting the film’s first nine minutes, Paramount have released a brand-new trailer for J.J. Abrams’ eagerly-awaited Star Trek Into Darkness.
The film stars Chris Pine as Kirk, Zachary Quinto as Spock, Zoe Saldaña as Uhura, Karl Urban as Dr McCoy, Anton Yelchin as Chekov, John Co, as Sulu, Simon Pegg as Scotty and Benedict Cumberbatch.
In December the film’s plot synopsis was released, giving this insight into the action and fun to come:
“When the crew of the Enterprise is called back home, they find an unstoppable force of terror from within their own organisation has detonated the fleet and everything it stands for, leaving our world in a state of crisis.
“With a personal score to settle, Captain Kirk leads a manhunt to a war-zone world to capture a one-man weapon of mass destruction.
