Android Jelly Bean runs on very first Android phone

The G1 was the first ever Android handset
Coders have managed to get the very latest version of Android – known as Jelly Bean – running on the T-Mobile G1, the first ever Android mobile phone.

When we reviewed the G1 in December 2008 we were impressed but it rapidly stopped getting original OS updates.

To prove their technical prowess, the XDA coders have posted this video to YouTube
