BBC giving away free interactive Doctor Who ebook

cyberman_ebookUK Doctor Who fans can download a free ebook featuring an interactive history of Doctor’s famous silver foes.

The Doctor Who: Cybermen Monster File ebook is available for iPad, Android tablets and Kindle Fire and can be downloaded via the BBC’s website for free until 31st July 2014 23:59..

After that date the book will go on sale and the free edition will cease to be available to download.

According to the BBC’s FAQ, the download is part of a “to explore a different platform for delivering additional content to our audiences.”

The book brings each version of the Cybermen to life using clips, fabulous photos and in-depth info.

In addition, there’s a brand new adventure written by Joseph Lidster. In Cybermen: Status Update a young man is all that stands between freedom and a world ruled by Cybermen! You can read the story or hear it delivered by the Voice of the Cybermen himself, Nicholas Briggs.
