Channel 5 has commissioned a new four-part run of The Hotel Inspector Returns.
The series will see acclaimed hotelier Alex Polizzi return to some of the hotels and guesthouses featured in The Hotel Inspector to discover how they’ve prospered since her first visit.
Venues include The First in Last Out, a 17th-century Winchester pub and B&B previously plagued by poor reviews; ambitious project the Artist Residence in Brighton; The Caspian Hotel in Ealing, which suffered a 10 per cent occupancy rate and questionable décor; and the Who’d a Thought it in Kent, run by a self-styled showman.
The series is produced for Channel 5 by Twofour.
Series Producer Kent Upshon said: “Alex has definitely visited some challenging hotels in the past, and this series will give viewers a chance to see if they’ve continued to follow her advice.
“As with life, there are no certainties, but as always, Alex will be demanding perfection so we can guarantee the experience definitely won’t be dull…”
