Jeremy Clarkson’s The Grand Tour is still one of Amazon’s most watched shows

Jeremy Clarkson’s The Grand Tour continues to be a winner for Amazon’s Prime Video streaming service.

The motoring show was one of the service’s most streamed original series of 2017 according to its latest ‘Summer Trends’ report.

Co-hosted by Richard Hammond and James May, the series sees the former Top Gear trio tour the globe in a giant tent as they embark on a series of motoring challenges, car reviews and comedic adventures.

Season one drew rave reviews from critics and fans alike, with many praising the show’s high budget production values.

The positive reception was in stark contrast to the almost universal panning given to the BBC’s ill-fated attempt to continue Top Gear with Chris Evans and Matt Le Blanc.

Clarkson, Hammond and May are currently working on the second season which is expected to hit screens in November.

Amazon Prime Video can be accessed on selected Smart TVs, via smartphone and tablet apps and via Amazon’s Fire TV stick and Fire TV and is free to Amazon Prime customers.

The service is also available with a stand-alone subscription.
