Matt Forde, star of UKTV’s Unspun and host of the popular Political Party stand-up show and podcast, will debut a new show – Brexit Through The Gift Shop – at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe.

The whole thing’s a mess and only one person can sort it out. Sadly, we have no idea who so, instead of worrying, join Britain’s leading political comedian for his last show as an EU citizen from 1st -26th August at the Pleasance Forth at 8.30pm for some topical comedy.

A former Labour Party advisor, Forde has hosted four series of Unspun on Dave, was a regular guest on the One Show in the lead up to the 2017 General Election and has also made appearances on  Have I Got News For You, The Royal Variety Performance, Mock The Week, Question Time, This Week, Newsnight and Daily Politics.

Matt Forde’s London show, The Political Party, has been a sell-out during its monthly residency at Westminster’s The Other Palace for nearly six years.

The podcast version has amassed over 1 million downloads on Soundcloud and has been named as one of The Observer’s top political podcasts picks, hit the top spot of the iTunes comedy chart, was highlighted as the Daily Telegraph’s podcast of the week and was nominated for the Internet Award at the Chortle Awards.
