Three offers low-cost 4G Android tablet

media_pad_threeThree is now taking in-store orders for a new low-cost, 4G capable Android tablet.

The Huawei MediaPad 10 Link tablet is now available from Three stores and will be also be available online at Three.co.uk from mid-October.

The 10.1 inch tablet costs just £29.99 upfront and £19.99 per month if you enter into a 24 month contract for 5GB of data or for for £229 with a rolling one month data plan of either 1GB or 10GB at £7.50 and £15 respectively.

The MediaPad runs on Google’s Android Jelly Bean and Huawei’s in-house Emotion UI, and features a HD screen and Dolby surround sound.

Sylvia Chind, head of devices at Three, says: “The Huawei MediaPad 10 Link is great for customers that want to stay connected on the go for a reasonable price. It’s also 4G ready, so customers can make the most of either our advanced 3G network or our 4G network when it begins rolling out at the end of the year.”
